We were up early because we were supposed to be back to the place we had the festivities the night before for breakfast. Well, we should have known better. We were 15 min later than we were told to be there and we were the first ones in the SHe group there.
This is the cute little Dura girl (right) and her friend carrying their mats home.
The view while we were waiting for everyone else to show up.
In true SHe fashion, we had to have a human pyramid at some point. They chose a place we could get the Himalayas in the background too. Plus we had lots of time to spare.
We entertained the locals with bubbles. They were fascinated.
Scott and Bishnu eating some deep fried rice bread rings for breakfast. They were delicious. I ate way more than I should have.
Before we left, we had yet another cultural exposition, with our favorite song - Resham Firiri
So, of course we all joined in the dancing.
And we were blessed yet again with tikkas, garlands, and prayer scarfs as we left the village.
The dancers waving good-bye
After leaving Tuluswara, we bushwhacked our way up to a house on top of a ridge to rest and see the views of the Himalayas.
Dini, Leah, Danalee, me, and Rachel relaxing at the house. Unfortunately, the clouds cover the mountains.
Making our way from the house to Turlung, we passed some really old Hindu shrines. Amy is ringing the bells.
And, this is a tiger trap, or so our guide told us. They would put food in and the tiger's paw would get stuck.
An old man tending his flock of goats.
The village of Turlung as we were hiking in.
