Champs Elysees and Arc d'Trumph, Seine River, Bascilica du Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge & Montmartre, Climbing the Eiffel Tower and views, etc., the Catacombs, Napoleon's tomb, Luxembourg Gardens, more tower, Cathedral-esque building where Napoleon is buried as seen from the view of the "Thinking Man" by Rodin, more tower, and finally, eating our favorite French dish - no, not baguettes with a stick of butter chunked on the bread and a few thin slices of ham... not even a cold powdered egg omelet type failure of a recreation in a baguette with half a jar of mayo.... this we actually liked... crepes with bananas and chocolate sauce straight from the street vendor... nice, warm, fresh, and utterly delicious.

Paris... One More Time
I've been rather lax about posting lately, mostly because there has been a lot going on but I haven't really felt like blogging about it all either. So, after much ado (and two posts already up), I will finally finish my post about the trip to France and Belgium. I'll try and give you some idea as to what is what if it isn't readily self-evident, but I may just slap the pictures up and if you really want to know, ask me. Here's a montage of the rest of Paris. I'm disappointed that I didn't bother to get a picture of the stunning hotel we stayed in our last night in Paris. It really was picture worthy. Then you would realize why it was stunning. You'd be stunned to think we'd actually sleep there. I'm posting the pictures small, but, as always, you can click on the picture to enlarge.

I can't believe that you made Michele climb the stairs to the top of the Eiffel Tower! Were the elevators not running :-)
Stairs only go to second floor. We took the elevator from the second to the top then all the way down. I don't think she was so excited that we walked up... even though it was only part way up.
