UP

I'm not one to actually promote movies and there have been very few movies lately that I have even really liked. For my friend Shanna's birthday, Eliza, Shanna, Melissa, and I (as seen in the picture) went to go see "Up"... and we saw it in style - 3-D style (notice our super cool, sporty 3-D shades). I went with absolutely no expectations, except maybe that I didn't think the trailers looked very good and I wasn't so excited to see it.

I absolutely LOVED this movie. I'll warn you ahead of time that it is kind of a tear-jerker. Those who had seen it didn't bother to tell me that. Of course, like all animations, it is fantastical and would never happen in real life. Really, what cartoon is based on reality? Obviously not Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, or Snow White... or Lion King... or Toy Story... or Cars... or.... Definitely not Wall-E (I did NOT like that one at all). So, I'm back to UP. I really did love this movie, even though it made the sniffles run a bit. And, it definitely is worth seeing in 3-D if you can.
