Adventures in Driving

I learned an important lesson in driving this weekend. I was short on time to meet my friend at the movies and had to make a stop at the store first. I'll be honest, I wasn't really paying attention and turned right in front of a car that was driving straight because I didn't see her till I was half way through the turn. No point stopping at that point so I just kept driving and gave her the little sorry wave. To my defense, I wasn't really close to even hitting her. However, this lady, probably in her 50's was seriously mad at me. I pulled in, parked, and noticed that instead of continuing on her way, she turned to follow me into the parking lot and drove reallllly slowly behind my car and gave me the look of death as she passed. I made my way back into the store, but as I was checking out, I thought... seriously, I am stupid! I should have moved my car after the lady left so she couldn't come back and do something to it. Needless to say, I got out of the store and walked all the way around my car examining it for any marks or keyed areas that weren't already there. Luckily for me she didn't key my car but a lesson for the future... if you have a lapse of sanity and pull a blonde driving moment (admit it, you all know you have those) make sure the offended party doesn't know where you park when you leave your car defenseless in the parking lot.
