SHT

For those of you who are thinking Minnesota has somehow instilled in me undesirable words, let me remove you from your base thoughts and introduce you to a higher way of thinking. SHT = Superior Hiking Trail. What better way to spend a fantastic spring Saturday morning than hiking along the SHT on the north shore of Lake Superior?

First trip to Lake Superior = fantastic. I'm pretty sure I'll hit up the trail (which goes all the way to the Canadian border) again at least one more if not more times this summer. I feel fairly, well, REALLY hiking deprived here in MN. There is some great scenery around but very few great hiking trails.
