To Curve or Not to Curve

I'll just start out by saying that I love my old phone, the Blackberry Pearl. So somehow after considerations from Joe that 1) our family line contracts would be off for 1 year since he just extended his line and 2) if I got a phone now then if my new phone broke, like his often does, I could still have my working Pearl as a backup and not end up with some brick for a phone. Last night, I finally broke down and bought a new phone - the Curve. I thought if I was spending that much money on a phone, maybe I should upgrade from the Pearl to the Curve with a full QWERTY keyboard. I don't know if I could go back to a normal phone after becoming a crackberry addict.

Pros - the Curve has a larger screen, full keyboard, hotspot calling, 3.2megapixel camera, full MP3 player, titanium casing, a bunch of other stuff, and does not have the game spider solitaire, which I'm calling good because I needed to stop playing it all the time - in its place there is this word mole game which I have found I will quickly become addicted to instead.

Cons - I miss the smaller phone, this was more expensive than my TV and almost as much as my flight to Paris (yes, I hate to spend money) - although I do get a $100 rebate, ... and... while sitting in the store waiting for the guy to transfer all my settings to the new phone for me, I realized that although I like to think I'm comfortable with change, sometimes change takes some getting used to.

Good thing I still have 13 more days to deliberate.
