Giant Ice Cream Cones

Eliza and I took advantage of a beautiful March afternoon on Saturday and drove over to Stillwater on the MN/WI border. It is a small touristy town that I've posted about before. We spent time browsing shops, and then thought we'd get some ice cream and walk across the border to WI. Little did we know that a 2-scooper was really like a 4-scooper. Seriously gigantic, and seriously delicious. Unfortunately you can't see the goodness in Eliza's hand. Not that I tasted hers, but I'm sure her's was as good as mine. Mine might have been better because I got half strawberry (with huge chunks of real strawberries) and half maple nut, with huge chunks of nuts (maybe walnuts? I wasn't really paying attention, just enjoying the delectibleness). So, the picture looks sunny and beautiful (well still brown because spring hasn't quite sprung yet) and it really felt fantastic outside. I have quickly learned that after surviving a winter of long strings of negative temps, anything above 50 degrees feels fantastic. 50 in AZ, I would have froze, but 50 in MN and we were in t-shirts, flip flops, and eating ice cream.
