One rule of working in an office of cubicles, anything you say out loud is public knowledge. Which means, if you want to say anything private, you had better move away from the desk to the hallway or an empty conference room. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT move your conversation to the bathroom. That is so wrong on so many levels.
So, in my cubicle state, I overheard a co-worker this morning on the phone and through the general start-of-the-meeting greetings he shared the following thought with whoever was on the other end of the line.
"Things are going great... I have a sunshine rule. I take what I've got and then work to make things happen."
I like that.
