Yesterday at church I was greeted with the news that while I was out they decided to change what I was doing (my "calling") in my congregation and no longer do I get to organize and manage monthly visits between all the females in the congregation. Somehow, they decided that I, the only female in the congregation that is unmarried with no kids, should teach a group of 5 year olds each week a Sunday School class. Normally, I love to teach at church... but to adults. I have no clue how to keep the attention of a bunch of 5 year olds for ONE WHOLE HOUR! There was a reason I did not major in early childhood education or elementary education.
My only salvation my be that there are a few little boys in that age range in the congregation that love me.
Oh... the irony of the whole thing.
