Salt

So, the other day, a guy mentioned something about a single girl I know "seeming to be the salt of the earth". The catch is that he was using this as a pick up line. Really? She's a pretty cute girl and I'm pretty sure he didn't even know her. Apparently what he didn't understand was that honorous title is reserved for the old people... and JUST the old people. I'm pretty sure no girl, especially any single girl, wants to be referred to as salt of the earth. He might as well have walked up to her and said "you seem really Molly. I want to get to know you better." Seriously, some people have a lot to learn.
