I'll freely admit I was uneducated about anything Minnesota when I moved here. I had no clue that this was the big flour producing area - hence General Mills is located here and a ton of people I know (yes, litterally a ton - at least 2,000 pounds of them) actually work there too. So, you can see remnants of old factories and things from the old flour mill industry.
And then there's the Mississippi River, which is pretty fantastic in an of itself. I never knew that the river actually started in Minnesota. I think they should have named it the Minnesota River. Somehow Mississippi got all the credit for all our hard work.
Finally, only in Minneapolis would you find a store named this... It's pretty cool if you ever get a chance to puruse its merchandise.
