France... Sainte Chapelle and Notre Dame

I don't know if I have enough patience to make sure I get all these pictures in order. I also don't have all the pictures with me that I want to post, so I'll add some now and some later.

Here's our one rainy day in Paris. Of course this is the day we spent freezing in line to climb the North Tower of Notre Dame. Apparently none of us were smart enough to take a coat that day when we left the hotel. However, two of us did take umbrellas which ended up being enough to share between the three of us. After freezing at Notre Dame we went home and got coats/sweatshirts. One of the highlights is Sainte Chapelle... Absolutely beautiful. It is a small church on the same island as Notre Dame (yet another thing I didn't know about Paris - Notre Dame is actually on an island in the middle of the Seine which is very cool). So back to Sainte Chapelle... the upper chapel has the most amazing stained glass windows. Each section of windows told a different story from the bible. We spent a while identifying different scenes in the individual panes.
