With the impending doom of winter quickly approaching, I have tried and tried and tried to be positive about embracing winter. Really, that is the only way I think I might survive after living in AZ for 6 years. But today has shown me that old man winter just may get the best of me. I was tired of being cooped up in cubeland so I printed the document I was reading, tossed on my coat, and headed outside for a walk while I was reading. By the time I was done walking and reading the 7 page document, I was frozen! The sun was shining and it was about 50 degrees outside and it is only the middle of October! That shouldn't be too bad. Unfortunately for me, my fingers still feel like they are thawing out hours later. I must admit, I acclimated to Barbados far better than I was hoping. I loved the heat and humidity. I guess this means I need to put even more energy into embracing winter if I plan to survive MN over the next 6 months!

Its All About Embracing
