Those who know my grandpa call him Snub (and he loves that name!) and those who don't know him (like telemarketers) call him by his given name. When I was up there a few months ago, he was still getting around but his health had started going downhill. A few nights ago he had a few episodes and is not doing so well anymore. It is such a blessing that my grandparents have been married for almost 75 years!
I'm going to try to go visit them soon so I can see them both while they are still alive. It will be sad to see my grandpa in a hospital bed and not out working in his garden or relaxing in his recliner.
