Last weekend, in preparation for Halloween, a few friends and I decided to do something different for the season. We found a readers theater of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow at an 1800's historic farm close to here so we went. It was set in the old wooden barn, complete with hay and mice, and 3 of the farm workers dressed in period clothing reading the story. The night was a bit chilly but we bundled up and enjoyed the night. The girls I went with are fantastic too. I'll have to find more random cool things like that to do while I'm here.
