In my haste to actually try and get the Sajomte post up last night, I totally forgot my Advice for the Day. So, here you go. Advice For The Day: Muerto, Dos Horas - Anything that may or may not be poisonous but looks really scary can cause death in two hours. No more, no less. 2 hours. At least according to the locals. One of the guys actually caught this tarantula just outside of the dining hall one night. One day while mining on the hill in Sajomte, I saw a spider about 2 inches across and screamed (yes, I'm a girl) that there was a big spider. Three locals ran up the hill to see and laughed at me saying that it was small even though I said it was big. After I saw the tarantula (the picture doesn't do it justice), I now know why they laughed. 2 inches wasn't big for a spider down there. So, if you see a tarantula, although they aren't poisonous, you will be dead in two hours. No more, no less. It may be from shock or fright but you have 2 hours.
