A recruiter contacted me last week out of the blue for a position that I had no clue what it was and only a vague inkling that it might be in Florida since that is where the headquarters are. I finally talked to the recuiter again today about the position, which sounds pretty interesting. I'll just put it out there now that I'm not even sure if I will apply and if I do, if they want me. I'm just saying. But I was sitting here thinking.... I don't really know ANYTHING about Florida. Here are the few facts off the top of my head that I know:- They have hurricanes
- It is humid there in the summer
- They have alligators (I've tried the meat before... not the best)
- Tampa is the home of the Buccaneers and the Devil Rays... and ummm... I think I might be missing some other type of pro team there
- They have the everglades there
- FL is the home of Spring Training (along with AZ)
- They have Disney World (which is good but I think isn't as good as Disneyland. Don't get me wrong... I loved every second there... I'm just saying...)
- They grow oranges
- I don't really like any of their college football teams
ummm... see?!? I'm seriously struggling here. I'm not sure I actually know really anything about Florida. I've only been there once.. to Orlando.. Disney World... I don't think that really counts. And flying through the Miami airport really doesn't count even though I was there more times than I should have been during my Barbados trip. But I guess I didn't know anything about Minnesota before I moved here either.

Wow! One weather extreme to another.
Warm weather and VERY VERY HUMID!! Not to mention it is as flat as a pancake!!! Never seen so many straight as an arrow roads in my life. I have driven all over the state except up the northern parts by Georgia.
