Minnesota Adventures

I have long realized that my list of potential Minnesota adventures (on the left) are sadly outdated. And, with the weather a beautiful 75 degrees outside, I need a new list of fun and exciting things to do while I'm here.
  • Complete Learn how to x-country ski (again). It won't be as good as downhill but a reasonable substitute in a state with no mountains.
  • Still to Do Go to Canada
  • Ummm... partially complete (still need to get to ND & SD) Visit all the adjoining states (ND, SD, WI, IA)
  • Still to Do Ride the rollercoasters at Valley Fair
  • Complete Bike to Coon Rapids Dam
  • Complete Visit Duluth (Not so sure... but everyone says it is fantastic)
  • Still to Do See the beginning of the Mississippi River
  • Still to Do (not that I have much control over this one) See the Aurora Borealis
  • Complete St. Paul Cathedral
  • Complete Rent a paddle boat on Lake Calhoun
  • Complete Minneapolis Sculpture Garden (Cherry on the Spoon)
  • Still to Do Ice Fishing (if I'm here next winter)
  • Complete Go to a Broadway Play
  • Complete Visit St. Mary's Basilica
  • Complete Canoe the Boundary Waters

So, I need to come up with a new list of Minnesota Adventures. Here's the start of the list based on what I haven't done so far and a few new ones:

  • Visit Canada, North Dakota, and South Dakota
  • See the headwaters of the Mississippi River
  • Ride the rollercoasters at Valley Fair
  • Ice Fishing (I'm really hoping I'm NOT here next winter)
  • Kayak down the Mississippi River
  • Visit Paul Bunyon sites
  • See a game in the new Twins stadium
  • Bike Mississippi River trails
  • Spam museum (thanks Camille & Ian for that one)
  • James J Hill house museum walk and Summit Ave tour
  • Taylor's Falls
  • Movie in the park
  • Lake Harriet trolley ride
  • Split Rock Lighthouse

What am I missing?

1. Paul Bunyon is next to the Mississippi headwaters...we'll knock that one out in one day

2. HELLO! Walnut Grove! Little House on the Prairie!!! (which I think is fairly close to the Spam Museum and the Jolly Green Giant.
