Timberwolves Game

Some of you may ask yourselves.... why in the world would you go to a Timberwolves game? Well, the answers (yes, there are multiple) are quite simple. When I got a call from a guy I met at FHE saying there was a group going to the game last night and asked if I wanted to go, who was I to turn down anything that got me out and about? Plus, not only did I get to do something outside of my apartment that didn't involve shopping, I got to meet people in the Uptown ward as well. I met Kody there and not only did we have tickets, we had tickets from Mark "the mad dog" Madsen. Apparently he's in the Uptown ward and gives tickets to his friends. THEN, we had family & friends passes and went into a back room that had catered food, drinks, you could sit on the couch and watch the game... everything. The game was fun (we won in overtime), we got to watch Mark play (the local crowd LOVES him)and then we had passes to wait and meet players after the game.

Mark was absolutely nice and let me take a picture with him. I felt tiny standing next to him. With my tall shoes on I may have come up to his shoulder. I'll post the picture when I finally download it off my phone. All in all, I had a great night... I went to the last TW game of the season, free tickets and food, met great people, and didn't have to sit in my apartment doing laundry!
