Conference, as usual, was wonderful. I'm not one to LOVE going to the church and sitting in a pew for 2 hour blocks twice a day but since I don't have the luxury of watching conference on TV in Minnesota, I went to the church building to watch. Saturday was interesting since when I got there about 5 min before it was supposed to start, there were only about 5 people there and no equipment set up to watch. The Elders finally rigged up a small TV for us to watch. It was small but it was still good to be able to watch. Sunday morning was a different story and they had it already set up with the projector and screen and the chapel was about 1/2 full.
As much as I loved President Hinckley, well, and every other past Prophet, I love President Monson too. Before conference, it was hard to think of him as a Prophet but Saturday and Sunday he naturally felt like the Prophet. President Eyring and President Uchtdorf are fantastic too. It is such a blessing to have a living Prophet!
I had some favorite talks but will have to listen and read them all again to see if there are any others that pop out. If you didn't get the chance to watch conference this weekend, you still can listen, watch, or read at: http://www.lds.org/conference/sessions/display/0,5239,49-1-851,00.html
