So, yes, it is 2010 and, yes, I am online - meaning I meet people online. So, I got this message a few months ago but shared this little tidbit with Carrie the other night and it STILL makes me laugh. I figured I need to continue the chronicles of my rather random, sometimes non-existent (remember, I live in Minnesota of all places), sometimes exciting, sometimes life changing, sometimes dreamy, and like this, sometimes weird dating life.
I admire so much what you do, you are a true angel giving hope and love to all those children, like a female Jesus.
ummm... what? I'm not sure I read that right the first time... or the hundredth time for that matter. Oh my. OH MY. I never knew there was such thing as a "female Jesus". So, the comment came from the fact that I had a picture up with me and some of the kids from my humanitarian trip to Guatemala last year. I know he was being sincere but I can't believe that he actually wrote this in an email to me, let alone thinking this would be a great way to get me to write him back. The first part was fine but did he really have to add the last four words?!? I feel like I'm going to be stoned or struck by lightning for blasphemy, disrespect, or something just by reading it and laughing while I do.

That is pretty much I what I think about you. I hope you still have some Birkenstocks in the closet.
