And the Winner is....

NEPAL!


Not that the winner should be such a shock to anyone. The more I've been reading up on Nepal the more excited I get. Now, I need to start fundraising. I want to try to raise $10,000 for the expedition and to take in medical and school supplies. I know, a lofy goal. But, I've got to start somewhere. My efforts may only make it to $10 or maybe $1,000, but $10,000.... now that would be amazing. Just think of all the medical and school supplies I could take in to the country with that much money! So, be on the lookout for future adventures in fundraising. It's not an area I've really ventured into before so it will certainly be an adventure, if nothing else.

And, before you question the months of the expedition (October/November) like I did, let me educate you on the fantastic fact that I've found out - the best months to visit Nepal is between Sepember and November. August is monsoon month and then after that the country is in bloom. Even thinking about the trip makes me super excited.

But, next up, posts from.... Cancun! I need to get through several trips before I can get too excited about Nepal, and Cancun, with my brother, Joe and my parents, is the first in that series which happens to start this weekend! And then there's running the 1/2 marathon (PRINCESS 1/2 marathon no less) through Disney World in March. And I'm sure there will be several trips after that. Can I help it if I love to do fun things?
