I'm not one to really promote websites, or my work for that matter. There is a reason that I was NEVER meant to do sales. It is one of the lesser appealing forms of work I can think of. So, today's post seems to be an oddity for me, but I'm posting anyway.
Today, my company (OptumHealth) just launched a new website - http://www.myoptumhealth.com/. It is supposed to be similar to WebMD but only better, or so the sales people tell me. However, I do enjoy the days at work when they pay me to browse the internet. So, I spent a chunk of time this afternoon reading articles, doing health risk assessments, browsing through FDA recalls and checking out symptoms.
Now, you might have to take this with a grain of salt since I happen to be kind of nerdy this way and like reading medical stuff. But, there is also lots of great information on here as well for people who don't read it just for fun. Despite all my readings and checking, I still couldn't pin any great disease or malady on me. I guess I should count my blessings :)
