So, last weekend, while my car was being pelted by hail, I was attending my very first Minnesota Twins game (they played the Yankees). I went with 3 fantastic guys - Kody, Parley, and Tim - and after I got over my shock of hearing about the hail, the game was great.... long, but great. Well, and we lost too, by 1 in the 12th inning. And if you don't know anything about baseball, games aren't supposed to go that long. I think Kody felt bad about my car and informed me that no one can be sad with ice cream in their hand. In the middle of the game he went and got us all ice cream... Surprise! And, he was right. I couldn't be sad with ice cream in my hand. Little did I know that Parley's car got it much worse than mine. What a trooper. I was sad and he didn't even peep about his car.But we had fun anyway, the guys especially had fun. Fun heckling that is. Our seats were right on top of the Yankees' dugout so Parley and Kody were up and down heckling the players as they were on deck, batting, or coming in from the field. They guy in front of us actually stood up and threatened Parley in the first few innings. Little did he know he'd only heard the beginning of what was yet to come.

We were right next to where the players sit when they are in the hole... literally in the hole in the Metrodome. Parley and Kody kept looking at someone's head and yelling insults. Ha ha ha... it was A-Rod's head and they had me check out the 'do he had going on. His hair was gelled so tight he didn't get hat hair with the ball caps or the batting helmet. And... to go along with the gel, he had bleached tips... possibly to hide his thinning hair? I don't follow baseball enough to hate A-Rod but the boys sure loved giving him a hard time.
Special thanks to Parley for taking the pictures and more especially for sharing them with me. My camera cable is still missing and of course I haven't gone and bought another one yet. And, a special thanks to Tim for the fantastic tickets. Finally, a special thanks to Kody for driving us all and inviting me to the game!
